General note En este manual se presentan los resultados de un estudio de aptitud agrícola y forestal realizado por el CIEFAP, en parte del valle medio y superior del río Chubut (abarcando también parte del valle del Lepá y del Gualjaina). Incluye una descripción de suelos de cada sector, una caracterización climática, la superficie potencial agrícola y forestal con su división en clases de aptitud, los posibles cultivos a realizar y las variedades de álamos y sauces que se pueden emplear en la formación de cortinas cortaviento, para la protección de dichos cultivos. Finalmente se presentan los mapas obtenidos.
