| General note |
Las especies arbóreas nativas de la Familia Cupressáceas, comprendidas en los géneros Austrocedrus, Fitzroya y Pilgerodendron, y exóticas del género Cupressus, se describen desde el punto de vista botánico, de acuerdo a sus caracteres morfológicos. Se establecieron diferencias entre especies, como así también la ubicación, la distribución geográfica y las características edafoclimáticas. Se determinaron los rendimientos de aceites esenciales de las hojas y ramas herbáceas de cada especie, en primavera y otoño, durante tres años consecutivos. Los aceites esenciales se obtuvieron mediante destilación por arrastre con vapor de agua, del material oreado. Se realizaron determinaciones físico- químicas, siguiendo normas IRAM-SAIPA. Se identificaron los principales componentes que correspondieron en su mayoría a monoterpenoides, siendo los más abundantes : α-pineno, β-pineno, mirceno, terpinen-4ol, g-terpineno y limoneno. Estos terpenos se hallan presentes en distintas proporciones en todas las especies de cupresaceas estudiadas . La calidad de los aceites esenciales se evaluó a través de cromatografía en fase gaseosa. Se presentan los resultados de rendimientos, variación estacional, tiempo óptimo de destilación, características organolépticas, densidad, índice de refracción y porcentajes de los principales componentes para cada especie. |
